NIHR Concludes the Legal and Human Rights Clinic Programme in Cooperation with University of Bahrain
The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) has concluded the “Legal and Human Rights Clinic Programme” for the second semester of the academic year 2021 – 2022 for the College of Law in the University of Bahrain, which dealt with several themes, including providing general information on human rights and fundamental freedoms, national, regional and international mechanisms for the protection of human rights, and the role of the national human rights institution in protecting human rights and fundamental freedoms.
The participating students were also briefed, over a period of three consecutive months, about the most important services provided by the NIHR, and its role in protecting and promoting human rights, whether at the local or international level.
This programme falls within the competencies of the NIHR in the field of promoting and disseminating human rights through holding training and educational courses for all segments of society, especially university students, on issues related to human rights.
