The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) received a group of students who are members of the Child Rights Committee from New Vision School, during an exploratory visit organized by the school to the NIHR's headquarters in the Seef District.

During the visit, Dr. Hooria Aldairi, the Child Rights Commissioner, gave a detailed lecture on "The Role of NIHR and the Main Competencies of the Child Rights Commissioner." The lecture included an overview of the primary tasks and responsibilities the commissioner handles in defending children's rights and ensuring the enforcement of local and international laws that protect these rights. Additionally, Dr. Al-Dairi offered the students the opportunity to ask questions and express their opinions on child rights issues, which enriched the discussion and enhanced awareness of the significance of this area.

This lecture is part of the NIHR's efforts to promote human rights awareness among younger generations and is a reflection of its continuous commitment to enhance their understanding, empower them in the field of human rights, and encourage their active participation in society.
