NIHR Chief signs MoU with Isa Cultural Centre
Chairman of the National Institution of Human Rights, His Excellency Dr. Abdul Aziz Hassan Abul signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Executive Director of the Isa Cultural Centre, Shaikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa to educate the people on the definition of human rights and the setting up a mechanism to strengthen its intellectual capability.
Dr. Abul applauded the important role of the Isa Cultural Centre in the promotion of Bahrain’s rich culture and traditions, and stressed the importance of the agreement to promote human rights in Bahrain.
Shaikh Khalid explained how human rights were seen as a key component to humanitarian and social stability in Bahrain. He said the centre always aspired to contributing, adopting and embracing these values.
The two parties agreed to exchange visits, consultations and publications and to set up events and projects of common interest.
