NIHR’s Committee on Visiting Detention Places and Facilities conducts a visit to Correction and Rehabilitation Centre in Jaw Region

Based upon the supervisory and legal role of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) to ensure that all inmates of the Correction and Rehabilitation Centre obtain their rights guaranteed by the laws, bylaws and regulations in-force in the correction and rehabilitation centres, and the relevant international human rights standards, the NIHR Committee on Visiting Detention Places and Facilities has conducted a visit to the Correction and Rehabilitation Centre in Jaw region, to meet with a number of inmates, listen to their requests, record their notes and prepare appropriate recommendations to be submitted to the competent authorities.
