NIHR Chairperson Receives Deputy Ambassador of the UK to the Kingdom of Bahrain
Eng. Ali Ahmed Al-Derazi, Chairperson of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), received at the NIHR’s Headquarters in the Seef District Mr. Stuart Summers, Deputy Ambassador of the UK to the Kingdom of Bahrain, accompanied by Mr. Ian Masson, Chief Staff of the Embassy.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed aspects of joint cooperation and exchanged visions and opinions on human rights issue. They also emphasized the importance of continuing and strengthening cooperation to unify efforts in areas related to human rights and ways to enhance and develop them.
For his part, the British Deputy Ambassador valued NIHR transparency and clarity in matters of common interest, stating the Embassy’s readiness to cooperate and provide technical and technological support for the NIHR to achieve its goals and competencies.
