NIHR Conducts a Field Visit to Wadi AlBuhair
As part of its mandate to protect and enhance human rights in accordance with its establishing law, a delegation from the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) made a field visit to the Wadi AlBuhair area to assess the measures and actions taken to reduce environmental pollution and improve environmental conditions there.
During the visit, the delegation met with a representative from the Supreme Council for the Environment and reviewed the environmental challenges facing the area as well as the efforts made to address them and improve the quality of life for local residents.
The delegation documented all observations after inspecting the site and prepared a set of recommendations in a report to be submitted to the relevant authorities.
