NIHR’s Chairman Receives Members of the Board of Directors of Bahrain Bar Society

Eng. Ali Ahmed Al-Derazi, Chairman of the National institution for Human Rights (NIHR), received members of the Board of Directors of Bahrain Bar Society (BBS) headed by Mr. Hassan Bedewi, President of the Bahrain Bar Society on the occasion of the election of the BBS new Board of Directors.

Al-Derazi congratulated the new BBS Board members on the occasion of their election to the Board of Directors, noting the role and contributions of Bahraini lawyers in the legal and human rights field, stating the NIHR keenness to enhance aspects of cooperation between the two sides and exchange expertise.

For his part, Mr. Bedewi commended the NIHR’s efforts to promote and develop a culture of human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and its constant cooperation with the BBS to enable it to play the role entrusted to it.
