NIHR receives a delegation from the National Human Rights Authority of the United Arab Emirates

The General Secretariat of the National Human Rights Institution (NIHR) hosted a delegation from the National Human Rights Authority of the United Arab Emirates, with the goal of fostering collaboration, sharing expertise, and reviewing best practices in managing the complaint system and contact center operations.

During their time at the NIHR, the delegation was greeted by Secretary-General Yasser Ghanem Shaheen, who expressed his pride in the strong brotherly ties between the two nations. The program included various presentations that outlined the NIHR’s role in protecting human rights, the process for handling complaints and providing legal support, and practical demonstrations on complaint management, monitoring processes, and storage and categorization techniques.

The visit underscores the ongoing collaborative efforts in human rights between the two nations, focusing on enhancing educational programs and training, and consolidating efforts to elevate and spread the culture of human rights.
