NIHR Receives Delegation from the International Diplomats Program (Dhiyafa)

The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) welcomed a delegation from the fifth edition of the International Diplomats Program (Diyafa), organized by the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies, affiliated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as part of their visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The delegation was received by Ms. Hala Ramzi, member of the Council of Commissioners, who welcomed the guests and emphasized the importance of such visits in strengthening communication and the exchange of expertise between the Kingdom and friendly and sister countries.
During the visit, Ms. Ramzi delivered a comprehensive presentation on the role of the NIHR in promoting and protecting human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain. She also highlighted the Institution’s advisory role in providing recommendations related to human rights, along with its ongoing efforts in monitoring the human rights situation in the country, receiving complaints and reports, and addressing them in accordance with established legal mechanisms. Additionally, she outlined the Institution’s awareness and training programs aimed at promoting a culture of human rights and raising public awareness across various sectors.
The International Diplomats Program (Diyafa) seeks to enhance bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and participating countries. It encourages participants to explore Bahrain’s rich history and learn about its achievements, while serving as a dynamic platform for the exchange of ideas and the building of networks among diplomats from diverse backgrounds through a wide range of activities.
