NIHR Receives a Delegation of Employees at the US House of Representatives and Senate

NIHR received a delegation of employees of the House of Representatives and Senate in the United States of America, on the occasion of the delegation's visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at the NIHR headquarters in Seef district, in the presence of a number of members of the NIHR Council of Commissioners.

Dr. Hooria Hassan, the Children Rights Commissioner, extended a warm welcome to the visiting delegation during the meeting. She underscored the significance of such exchanges in acquainting visitors with the extensive advancements in the legal sphere within the Kingdom of Bahrain, particularly in bolstering the rights and liberties of all its inhabitants.

Additionally, the delegation was presented with a video demonstration highlighting the institution's role as outlined in its legal framework, along with its advisory function in issuing recommendations concerning human rights matters.
