NIHR Receives a Delegation of Staff of the US House of Representatives and Senate

The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) received in its headquarters in Seef district a delegation of staff of the House of Representatives and Senate in the friendly United States of America, on the occasion of the delegation’s visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

During the meeting, Eng. Ali Ahmed Alderazi, NIHR Chairperson, briefed the visiting delegation on the NIHR’s role in dealing with the human rights situation in the Kingdom, and its advisory role in submitting recommendations related to human rights to the concerned authorities, stating the importance of such visits to review the comprehensive progress witnessed by the Kingdom of Bahrain in all fields, especially the human rights field.
