NIHR organizes an Introductory Lecture on "The Rights Leader" for a group of Elementary School Scouts.
Coinciding with Human Rights Day, the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) organized an introductory lecture on "The Rights Leader" for a group of elementary school scouts during their field visit to the institution's headquarters in the Seef District.
The lecture was presented by Dr. Hooria Al-Dairy, the Child Rights Commissioner, covering the concept of human rights and their types, the role of the institution in promoting and protecting child rights, the responsibilities of the Child Rights Commissioner and how to communicate with them, and an overview of child rights in national legislation and international treaties and conventions. The lecture also included an interactive Q&A contest to enhance the audience's understanding of the topics presented.
