NIHR Participates in a Webinar on Irregular African Migration

The Secretariat-General of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) has participated in a Webinar entitled “Irregular African Migration to the North: Worlds of Transit and Destination”, which was organised by the Regional Office of the International Peace Institute for the Middle East and North Africa (IPI-MENA) in Manama.
The Webinar addressed the problem that immigrants face when leaving their countries of origin and traveling through countries of transit and dangerous and often risky journeys to reach the countries of their destination, and illegal human trafficking they are sometimes exposed to, as well as the most important reasons for migration.
