NIHR Chairman receives the Director-General of Legal Affairs and Human Rights at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Eng. Ali Ahmed Al-Derazi, Chairman of the National Institution for Human Rights, has convened a meeting with HE D. Yusuf Abdelkarim Bucheeri, Director-General of Legal Affairs and Human Rights at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in the presence of members of the NIHR Council of Commissioners, the Secretary-General, and several representatives of the Human Rights Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at the NIHR headquarters in the Seef District.
During the meeting, Al-Derazi pointed out the importance of the role of the Human Rights Sector in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in conveying the true image of the human rights situation in the Kingdom of Bahrain in a transparent manner, stating at the same time the NIHR's full readiness to cooperate in this regard to achieve common national goals towards serving the nation and the citizen.
For his part, D. Bucheeri appreciated the NIHR's tireless efforts to promote, preserve and advance the principles of human rights in a way that ensures the consolidation of its values and spreading awareness of them at all levels, stressing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ constant keenness to develop cooperation, coordination and support to advance them to broader horizons in a way that meets common aspirations and goals.
