NIHR Celebrates Bahrain Women’s Day

Eng. Ali Ahmed Al-Derazi, Chairman of the National institution for Human Rights (NIHR), conveyed his heartfelt congratulations and blessings to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, wife of the King, President of the Supreme Council for Women, on the occasion of Bahraini Women’s Day, which the Kingdom of Bahrain celebrates on the first of December of each year.

In his speech during the celebration held by the Secretariat-General for the NIHR’s employees, Al-Derazi said that this day is one of the important national occasions as it sheds light on the most important milestones in the march of Bahraini women in supporting the wheel of national development in various fields and levels, under the royal patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the great monarch of the Country.

The NIHR Chairman appreciated the great and continuous efforts of the Supreme Council for Women to support Bahraini women and make them a major partner with men in the process of construction and development of the Kingdom of Bahrain, stating that the NIHR is working with its broad mandate to support everything that would enhance the status and respect of Bahraini women and their enjoyment of all civil, political, economic, social or cultural rights, as a key partner in building the renaissance of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
