NIHR Participates in a Training Programme on Capacity Raising in Preparing Reports

The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), represented by Mrs. Rawdha Al-Aradi, Member to the NIHR Council of Commissioners, and Mrs. Fatima Al-Tarif, Head of the NIHR Training and Education Unit, has participated in a training programme on Capacity Raising in Preparing Reports for national human rights institutions staff, which was organised by the Asia-Pacific Forum (APF) for national human rights institutions, in cooperation with the National Human Rights Commission of Thailand, the EU and the UNDP.

The programme, which was held in the Thai capital, Bangkok, and was attended by a number of representatives of national human rights institutions in the Asia-Pacific region, aimed at enabling the participants to prepare reports on progress for accreditation, and introducing the role of the APF in providing advice and legal assistance, in addition to exchanging expertise and best practices among all participants to improve results by activating the terms of reference of national human rights institutions.
