NIHR and the Bahrain Bar Association discuss enhancing cooperation

Within the framework of cooperation between the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) and civil society organizations, Eng. Ali Ahmad Alderazi, Chairperson of NIHR, welcomed several board members of the Bahrain Bar Association, led by Lawyer Salah Al-Madfai, with Lawyer Dina Abdulrahman Alladi, an NIHR Commissioner, also in attendance.

At the start of the meeting, Alderazi extended his congratulations to the newly elected board members of the Bahrain Bar Association, acknowledging the significant contributions of Bahraini lawyers in the legal and human rights sectors. He reiterated NIHR's commitment to strengthening collaboration and sharing expertise between the two organizations.

The discussion addressed several mutual interests with the goal of boosting cooperation between NIHR and the Association, particularly through joint training workshops and capacity-building initiatives designed specifically for lawyers to deepen their understanding of human rights.
