NIHR’s Vice-Chairperson: “We have received more than 400 calls since the beginning of the year via the NIHR’s hotline”

Mr. Khalid Abdul-Aziz Al-Shaer, NIHR’s Vice-Chairperson, stated that the Call Center of the NIHR has received more than 400 calls since the beginning of the year via the toll-free hotline (80001144), allocated to receive complaints.

Al-Shaer stressed that the NIHR is working to strengthen its permanent and continuous work, and is doing all it can to establish and protect human rights rules for all citizens and residents alike, in order to achieve maximum levels of protection and promotion of human rights.

The NIHR’s Vice-Chairperson and Member of the NIHR’s Committee on Complaints, Monitoring and Follow-up also asked people not to hesitate to submit complaints to the NIHR by calling the toll-free hotline service throughout the working days of the week from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.  In addition, calls received after these times will be recorded and callers will be contacted as soon as possible, and the NIHR will take the necessary legal action, while fully complying with the confidentiality of the communications received.
