NIHR Receives a Delegation from the US House of Representatives and Senate Staff

The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) received a delegation comprising a number of the US House of Representatives and the Senate Staff, on the occasion of the delegation's visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, in the presence of a number of members of the NIHR Council of Commissioners, at the NIHR headquarters in Seef District.
Engineer Ali Ahmed Al-Derazi, Chairman of the NIHR , briefed the delegation on the NIHR’s role in dealing with the human rights situation in the Kingdom of Bahrain in accordance with the its Establishment Law, and the NIHR’s advisory role in making recommendations related to human rights, emphasizing the importance of such visits to be briefed on the comprehensive renaissance witnessed by the Kingdom of Bahrain in the human rights field through the promotion of the rights and freedoms for all citizens and residents.
