NIHR Receives UNDP Resident Representative in the Kingdom of Bahrain

Eng. Ali Ahmed Alderazi, Chairperson of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), received Asmaa Shalabi, the newly appointed Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to Bahrain, at NIHR's headquarters. Alderazi expressed his welcome to Ms. Shalabi, congratulating her on her new role and wishing her success and achievement in her new duties aimed at achieving shared developmental goals.

During the meeting, both parties discussed the development of joint training programs and workshops in the upcoming period, targeting skill development and capacity enhancement. They also planned to exchange expertise in the fields of human rights and sustainable development to reach their common objectives.

Ms. Shalabi expressed her gratitude to NIHR for its efforts in promoting human rights and supporting sustainable development. She affirmed her commitment to enhancing cooperation between the UN Development Programme and the institution to achieve these common goals.
