The Belgian Ambassador learns about the Operations of NIHR
Eng. Ali Ahmed Alderazi, the Chairperson of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), welcomed Mr. Christian Dumes, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium accredited to the Kingdom of Bahrain and residing in Kuwait, on his official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
During the meeting, Alderazi praised the cordial relations between the two friendly nations and highlighted the continuous development in these relations across various levels.
Alderazi gave a brief presentation about the NIHR’s efforts in monitoring human rights conditions and its role in promoting and protecting human rights in Bahrain, in accordance with the mandates prescribed by its establishing law. He also emphasized the institution’s commitment to enhancing communication with relevant stakeholders at regional and international levels.
