NIHR receives the UN Resident Coordinator in the Kingdom of Bahrain

Eng. Ali Ahmed Alderazi, Chairperson of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), welcomed Mr. Khaled El Mekwad, the UN Resident Coordinator in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Alderazi commended the ongoing collaboration between NIHR and the UN Office in Bahrain, stressing the importance of continuing this partnership to achieve shared goals and support Bahrain's sustainable development initiatives.

In response, Mr. El Mekwad praised NIHR's efforts and activities aimed at promoting sustainable development through human rights. He emphasized that these initiatives enhance and strengthen the human rights framework in Bahrain and expressed his eagerness for continued cooperation to achieve mutual objectives.s
