NIHR Receives the Australian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain residing in Riyadh
Eng. Ali Ahmed Alderazi, Chairman of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), has received Mr. Mark Donovan, Australia’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, residing in Riyadh, at the NIHR’s headquarters in Seef District.
During the meeting, Alderazi welcomed Mr. Donovan and presented an overview of the NIHR’s work, objectives and competencies stated in its Establishment Law, and also discussed means of joint coordination and cooperation between the two sides with regard to human rights issues.
For his part, Mr. Donovan expressed his thanks for the warm reception, praising the importance of the NIHR’s role in protecting and promoting human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people continued progress and prosperity.
