National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) Meets the 6th Batch of Human Rights Legal Clinic Students (HRLC) Program
The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) met the 6th batch of Human Rights Legal Clinic (HRLC) Program Students in its Training Center at its headquarters in the Seef District as part of the role undertaken by the NIHR in disseminating and enhancing the culture of respect for human rights among society individuals, and in activation of the memorandum of understanding with the University of Bahrain to support the HRLC Program, affiliated to the University.
The event was opened by Director of Training and Education Mr. Ali Jasim Al-Bahar, who welcomed the participants and stressed the importance of the HRLC Program in increasing human rights awareness and reducing the gap between the theory and practice and wished the participants all success and progress.
Some cadres specialized in this field from the employees of NIHR participate in the implementation of this Program, which will continue for a full semester (two days per week) involving a number of students chosen by the HRLC in the University of Bahrain.
This event is included under the mandate of the NIHR in the field of enhancing and disseminating human rights by holding training and educational lectures and courses for all social classes, especially university students, on human rights issues.
