NIHR receives the Assistant Secretary for Middle East Affairs at the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade

Eng. Ali Ahmed Alderazi, Chairperson of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), welcomed Ms. Gema Higgins, Assistant Secretary for Middle East Affairs at the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, at the NIHR headquarters.
At the meeting's onset, Alderazi extended a warm welcome to Ms. Higgins, commending the collaborative ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Australia. He then outlined the initiatives undertaken by NIHR to advance and safeguard human rights in Bahrain. The discussion covered several areas of shared interest, especially in fostering and protecting the culture of human rights.
