NIHR’s Chairperson Meets the President of the Saudi Human Rights Commission
Eng. Ali Ahmed Al-Derazi, Chairperson of National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), has met with HE Dr. Awad bin Saleh Al-Awwad, President of the Saudi Human Rights Commission (SHRC), by video conference technology.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed issues of common interest and ways to enhance aspects of cooperation in the field of human rights between the NIHR and the SHRC, especially in the areas of training, education and exchange of experiences, in order to support efforts to achieve common goals to protect and promote a culture of human rights.
For his part, Dr. Al-Awwad congratulated Eng. Al-Derazi on his election as Chairman of the NIHR Council of Commissioners in the Kingdom of Bahrain, wishing him and the members of the Council continued success in their work duties.
