Al Ayyam Editor-in-Chief receives NIHR Chairperson
Mr. Issa Al Shaiji Al Ayyam Editor-in-Chief received Eng. Ali Ahmed Alderazi, Chairperson of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), at the newspaper's headquarters.
During the meeting, Al-Shayji expressed his appreciation for the significant role played by NIHR in enhancing and protecting human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and in developing the legal system. This is in light of the flourishing reform project initiated by His Majesty the King, which emphasizes the development of human rights concepts across all fields, propelling them towards advanced humanitarian and civilizational paths.
Al-Shayji also highlighted the annual reports issued by NIHR, noting their high level of professionalism and craftsmanship. He acknowledged the important roles the institution plays in raising human rights awareness and establishing human rights practices in all state institutions.
