American Ambassador briefed on NIHR’s Contact Center
HE Mr. Justin Siberell, the U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, was briefed on the mechanism of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR)’s call center and complaint receiving office. He expressed his admiration for the services offered by the NIHR through the launch of the toll-free hotline (80001144), stressing the essential role adopted by the NIHR as a national mechanism for the promotion and protection of human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The American Ambassador also visited the NIHR’s library and training center, noting the role of the national human rights institutions and their outstanding contributions in spreading the culture of human rights in accordance with the principles contained in the national, regional and international human rights mechanisms.
