NIHR Receives Representative of the World Health Organisation Office to the Kingdom of Bahrain
Eng. Ali Ahmed Al-Derazi, Chairman of the National institution for Human Rights (NIHR), has received Dr. Tansim Atatrah, Representative of the World Health Organisation (WHO) Office to the Kingdom of Bahrain, in the presence of Dr. Hooreya Abbas Hassan, Member to the NIHR Council of Commissioner and Child Rights Commissioner, at the NIHR headquarters in the Seef district.
During the meeting, Al-Derazi gave a brief of the NIHR's role in the field of protection and promotion of human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain in general, and in supporting the right to health in particular.
Al-Derazi appreciated the role and efforts made by the World Health Organisation (WHO) in supporting countries' efforts to develop health services, stating the importance of enhancing joint cooperation between the two sides.
