NIHR Participates in the Regional Consultation Session between Arab Countries and the European Union
The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), represented by Vice Chairperson Mr. Abdullah Al-Derazi, participated in the regional consultation session between Arab Countries and the European Union on “the Role of National Human Rights Institutions in the Implementation of Sustainable Development Goals for 2030”, which was organized by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the Arab Network of National Human Rights Institutions (ANNHRI) and the European Network of National Human Rights Institutions (ENNHRI), held in Istanbul. Throughout the session, the NIHR’s Vice President introduced the report of the group, which discussed the 10th goal related to the reduction of inequalities and the role of the national human rights institutions in the implementation of sustainable development goals for 2030.
