NIHR Receives a Delegation of Staff of the US House of Representatives and Senate
Eng. Ali Ahmed Al-Derazi, Chairman of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), has received a delegation of staff of the US House of Representatives and Senate, in the presence of members of the NIHR Council of Commissioners, on the occasion of the delegation’s visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
During the meeting, Al-Derazi briefed the visiting delegation on the NIHR’s role in the human rights field, and its advisory role in submitting recommendations related to human rights to the concerned authorities.
This visit comes to enhance ways of joint cooperation and exchange of expertise, and to learn about the Kingdom of Bahrain's continuous efforts to strengthen its human rights system, and the NIHR’s efforts in the human rights field in following up the human rights situation.
