NIHR conducted a visit to the Comprehensive Field Hospital, which is affiliated with the Psychiatric Hospital
Under its mandate to protect and promote human rights, and empowered by the provisions of its establishing law, the Detention & Facilities Visitation Committee visited the Comprehensive Field Hospital. The visit was intended to review the services provided by the center and its affiliated operations, observe the general conditions of patients and staff, listen to their observations, and ensure their rights are respected as guaranteed by national legislation and international human rights standards.
During the visit, officials in the hospital informed the delegation about the ongoing efforts of government hospitals to enhance and protect the right to health, ensuring these rights for both citizens and residents. The delegation also toured the facility to evaluate the implementation of humanitarian, safety, and security standards. They listened to feedback from medical and administrative staff and collected comments from some of the patients' relatives.
